Very unusual and hard to find Cartier Tank Louis with date pointer hand and moon phase complication. Watch appears in almost showroom condition. The watch has a brand new crystal, has been professionally polished and a new battery installed. All functions are working as intended. Comes in Cartier presentation box with outer box. Books and papers are in a Cartier slip case. Originally sold by Cartier as a "Men's" watch but now would be worn by a man or a woman. You will be pleasantly surprised when you first view your new treasure as it appears almost mint. Watch is signed Cartier five times. Perfect original white dial with black enameled Cartier signature Roman numerals, two dark blue sword hands and a dark blue date pointer. There is no crazing to the dial or the any signs of discoloration or deterioration. The gold moon phase window is just above the "VI". There is a date chapter in Arabic numbers inside of the hour numerals. The dial is signed "CARTIER" just below the "XII" and the "secret" signature hidden in the "VII". The back of the watch case is signed in script "Cartier" and inscribed "Paris"; "Tank Quartz"; "18K"; "SWISS MADE"; "819001xxxx" plus four hallmarks. The dark brown crocodile strap is signed in script "Cartier" and marked "Crocodile" and "17.6S". Using the present strap, the watch will fit a wrist of 5.46 inches to 6.66 inches. The pin buckle is Cartier. The case back is attached to the watch with four gold screws. The watch appears to be nearly mint with no evidence of being worn. Pre-owned in good working condition with a new battery, is as shown in the photographs of the actual watch. It is basically all gold toned with 35 mm. case, day/date is at 3 oclock location. The crystal is clean and so is the rest of the watch. The watch weighs 2.3 oz. and is good for wrist size of about 8 inches. It has a dated engraving on the closure. Will be shipped without the box.
